My International Sunday

At a little restaurant called the Prague Café, I talked to a girl. The girl was from Wales, the waiter was from eastern Europe, and the music was Swedish. It was Abba-Swedish, it was looping, and it was LOUD.

Does this make me cosmopolitan and well-rounded and stuff? I mean I exposed myself to lots of different cultures, but so far my chief benefit has been learning the words to Waterloo by heart.

Prague? Wales? Sweden?

Well, that might make you cosmopolitan if you want to be a eurocentric pig-dog. Gawd, you are just so 20th century.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna put on my kimono, and then go eat some Phở, and listen to some ragas in that one café in Kinshasa that's across the street from a mosque.
